Don't forget! National Night Out, brought to you by the National Association of Town Watch, ODAAT and PRO-ACT, is tonight starting at 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m at the gated pavilion parking lot at 17th and West Lehigh Avenue. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. National Association of Town Watch is the nation’s premiere non-profit crime prevention organization dedicated to the development and promotion of crime prevention in communities across the nation. NATW launched the National Night Out campaign in order to bring neighbors together, strengthen their relationships with law enforcement and civic groups in order to prevent crime in their communities.
Here at ODAAT we are helping our brothers and sisters start their new beginnings each and everyday. It is never too late for a fresh start at life. Janella and her son Xavier were recently evicted from their home after her son's father kicked her and their child out. Before living with her son's father, Janella was living at a women and children shelter for just over a year. She was able to reside at the shelter due to assisted rent until that recently ended. The termination of the assisted rent left Janella and her son out on the street. As soon as we heard of her situation at ODAAT, we stepped in to help this young mother and her son. This is what we do at ODAAT, #WeSaveLives & #WeChangeLives in #RecoveryMode
In order to do our work in the community, ODAAT needs your support. Please visit our #indiegogo #crowdfunding campaign in the link below to donate to the #RecoveryWeekend event and help us to continue providing services like these to Philadelphians. No matter how small, donations of any amount are welcomed. Every dollar will go a long way in helping ODAAT guide our brothers and sisters along their daunting roads to recovery. Please visit the link below, make a contribution and not only change a life, but save one!
