Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies Recruiting!
On Saturday, April 9, 2016, 10am-2pm, over 40 different local, state and federal law enforcement agencies will be actively recruiting interested candidates for their respective agencies! Event location for this diversity job fair: Bright Hope Baptist Church, 1601 North 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122 (corner of 12th & Cecil B. Moore Avenue).
“The Philadelphia Police Department is proud to be the host agency and organizer of this major law enforcement recruiting event,” said Kenneth Scott, Police Recruiter for the Philadelphia Police Recruiting Unit. Over 40 law enforcement agencies, including Temple University Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Drug Enforcement Agency, Pennsylvania State Police, Delaware State Police, and many others will be in attendance eagerly looking for new recruits. Candidates should come dressed to impress with their updated resumes.
“This is a public job fair open to all interested candidates, but minorities and women are especially urged to attend. Law enforcement agencies should reflect the very people they serve,” said community leader Rev. Michael Robinson, Senior Pastor, Greater Enon Missionary Baptist Church, in North Philadelphia, one of the sponsors of the event. Robinson is also Director of Community Outreach and Hiring for Temple University’s Office of Human Resources. “This job fair is a great opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to proudly represent their respective communities to serve among the ranks of America’s law enforcement agencies.”
Sponsors of this multi-agency law enforcement job fair include: Temple University Police Department, Temple University Office of Community Affairs, Wawa, Tastykake Baking and Greater Enon Missionary Baptist Church.
